Giving Levels & Recognition

Giving club membership, especially annual gifts at the President’s Society level, provides Guilford Tech with financial support that enables the college to offer quality education and prepare students to meet the needs of the local workforce. Giving club membership is based on a donor’s total gifts made during the college’s fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Annual gifts, planned gifts, and corporate matching gifts all qualify an individual for membership in a giving club or society. Matching gifts for which donors or their spouses/partners are eligible are credited to the donor when the college is notified of the match. Contracted planned gifts are recognized in the year in which the GTCC Foundation is notified of the arrangement.

President’s Society

Donors who have made an unrestricted gift of $1,000 or more to the GTCC Foundation during the college’s fiscal year are recognized as members of the President’s Society.

Cornerstone Society

Donors who have made a bequest or planned gift to the GTCC Foundation are recognized as members of the Cornerstone Society.
